Last year, LeBron James launched a video hub called Uninterrupted through Turner Sports and Bleacher Report. He has used it to make a series of announcements and has also called on other pro athletes like Ronda Rousey, Serena Williams, and Rob Gronkowski to connect with their fans through Uninterrupted video shorts. It has sort of become the video version of Derek Jeter’s The Players’ Tribune with James and his business partner Maverick Carter pushing for superstars to use it.

It has apparently been very successful, too, because Warner Bros. just announced that they are going to invest about $15 million into LeBron’s project. If you remember, LeBron inked a deal with Warner Bros. earlier this year that will call for him to play an active role in producing movies and TV shows for the company. And now, he will also be involved in creating more mobile, web, and social content through Uninterrupted.

“It’s giving athletes an opportunity to have a platform where they can speak about any issue,” LeBron told The Hollywood Reporter. “They don’t have to wait to be in front of a camera.”

You can read more about the deal here.
