Meghan McCain Responds to Trump Calling Her Father 'Disgraceful': 'This Is a New, Bizarre Low'

As Donald Trump continues to rail on the late John McCain, his daughter Meghan McCain has used her daily platform once again to clap right back.

On Tuesday, POTUS said he was "very unhappy" with McCain's vote regarding the Affordable Care Act, calling the move "disgraceful" before adding, "There are other things. I was never a fan of John McCain and I never will be." Those comments got all the cohosts on "The View" fired up this morning, as Meghan once again defended her father's legacy on morning TV.

"I know this is so bizarre because it's about my dad and it's a Hot Topic," she said, before first thanking the other women at the table for having her back. "First of all, anything anyone has to say about this show, there's real sisterhood and support at this table and we all support each other and first and foremost, the support and love I have from this show in particular, thank you, all of you, for real."

"I think if I had told my dad, seven months after you're dead, you're going to be dominating the news and all over Twitter, he would think it was hilarious that our president was so jealous of him that he was dominating the news cycle in death as well," she continued.

"Do not feel bad for me and my family, we are blessed, we are a family of privilege," Meghan went on. "Feel bad for people out there that are being bullied that don't have support, that don't have women of 'The View' come out and support their family. There are kids committing suicide because of cyberbullying online, there are people going through rough times, there are 20 veterans a day committing suicide. Focus on these issues, these are the issues I beg the White House to pay attention to."

She went on to call Trump's latest attack on her dad "a new, bizarre low." She continued, "I will say attacking someone who isn't here is a bizarre low. My dad's not here, but I'm sure as hell here."

Sunny Hostin also spoke out about the hateful message Cindy McCain posted from a troll online on Tuesday. The writer told Cindy she was "glad" John was dead and hoped "Your Mrs. Piggy looking daughter chokes to death on the next burger she stuff down her fat neck, too, c---."

"What was shocking to me is there was a time in this country when the families of politicians were off limits and there was a time in this country where certainly you wouldn't attack them publicly and you wouldn't attack them on the internet," said Hostin. "Now that the bullying comes from the top, the bullying comes from the administation, I would like to see that bullying be denounced. Not only from the republicans, but also from the White House."

She added that "the fish rots from the head," before saying she'd love to see Melania Trump, Donald Trump Jr. or anyone in the Trump family intervene to stop Donald's rhetoric. "What I saw against your mom and against your family yesterday was so hurtful to me as a mother myself," Hostin said.

Both Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar reiterated their belief that Trump is simply jealous of McCain's legacy. "You're getting smaller every day and thats why you can't deal with it," said Goldberg, "This is a man of integrity, look it up."

"I think he's jealous of your dad," added Behar. "It's hard to see why, after someone's passed away, that you'd still be jealous of him. But this is a psycho. He's not normal. He's obsessed with people who didn't support him. I'm sure he hates me in the same way, good."

"While he's sitting wherever he is writing these tweets, your brothers are out fighting for this country," Abby Huntsman also chimed in. "Put those two images in your head. They're fighting so he can sit there and tweet in freedom."
